Judy has worked for a number of publications and organisations doing typesetting, desktop publishing on a freelance basis, either on Mac or PC, from home or at the client's office. She works with Adobe Indesign, Pagemaker, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and can produce pdf files for high quality print. She is familiar with all aspects of publishing and print work, and can work on an hourly rate. Organisations worked for: ReviewMedia in Bridgnorth helping to produce the Shropshire Review and Shropshire Woman, designing adverts, page layouts, and collating the adverts and pages together for final print pdfs. Typesetting and image processing work for the Bridgnorth Directory. Bulk image processing for the web. RAPRA (Rubber and Plastics Research Agency) in Shawbury, doing freelance design work from home producing conference brochures, adverts and programmes, leaflets and flyers, everything up to a full book. MA Creative in Barker Street, Adobe Illustrator work tracing maps, typesetting in Indesign, bulk image processing and correction ready for print, page layouts with text and images in Indesign. Shropshire Photographic Society's annual exhibition catalogue, put together solely by Judy from extraction of information from databases, typesetting and layout, through to final proof and print. Staffordshire and Shropshire Land Rover Club's quarterly magazine, put together solely by Judy, from advertising to print.
